Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has strengthened his squad of Cardiff City by signing Javi Guerra, Federico Macheda, Adam Le Fondre, Guido Burgstaller and Kagisho Dikgacoi all of which are strikers and midfielder that will mostly reinforce the attacking options of Cardiff City.
The Norwegian tactician Solskjaer has revealed that he is satisfied with all of those arrivals and he has no intentions of signing any other offensive player. The manager of Cardiff City is going to focus on the defensive department of the squad.
A new centre-half is Solskjaer’s priority as he wants to sign a solid and consistent defender before the summer transfer window concludes. Having already covered the midfield and forward options for Cardiff City, the focus will remain on the backline as Solskjaer wants to avoid conceding a large amount of goals which was what happened in the previous season when the fragile backline of the club allowed 74 goals to be scored while only being able on scoring 32 goals.
Steven Caulker is expected to leave Cardiff City and join Harry Redknapp with Queens Park Rangers. The captain of Cardiff City has a relegation escape clause in his contract of €8 million that will allow QPR on making a move for the defender.
The manager of QPR, Harry Redknapp plans to pair up Rio Ferdinand with Steven Caulker and he is determined to make that happen during the transfer window as both players can be signed at a relatively cheap price considering all of the experience and stability that they will bring to QPR.
